Welcome to my webpage! I am Jose, a PhD student in the University of Sevilla, tutored by María Cumplido and Anne Lonjou.

My interests are:

• Geometric Group Theory
• Combinatorial Group Theory
• Algebraic Topology
• Artin groups

I have a little but strong background in both geometric and combinatorial group theory, for I have done my Bachelor Thesis about Bass-Serre theory and its applications for the study of Artin groups. My Master Thesis' theme is virtual Artin groups, which are a generalization of Artin groups. I have also been given a Collaboration Grant from the Spanish Goverment to study those groups alongside Professor Cumplido.
